Tony Evans is a native of Knoxville, TN. He received his Master’s Degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1995 and his Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Arizona in 2002.

After graduating from the University of Tennessee, he was employed in private practice in Spartanburg, South Carolina for 4 years and then in Pikeville, Kentucky for 2 years before returning to his hometown in 2001. Dr. Evans served as staff audiologist with both National Hearing Center and Amplifon Hearing aid center from 2003 to 2007. He purchased Amplifon Hearing Aid Center in 2008 and started Audiolife Hearing Center in 2008.

After graduating from the University of Tennessee, she was employed by Spartanburg ENT in Spartanburg, SC for 2 years. Dr. Mauldin was the Director of Audiology for The Speech and Hearing Center in Chattanooga for 8 years and has worked in private practice since returning home to Knoxville in 2008. She joined AudioLife in August 2012. She resides in North Knoxville with her husband and their 2 children.

Dr. Kristie Johnston is a native of Knoxville. She has over 25 years of experience in the profession of Audiology. Dr. Johnston graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology, a Masters in Audiology and a Doctorate of Audiology.

She served as a clinical audiologist with Children’s Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists in Knoxville, Tennessee for over 15 years. She served as the Director of Audiology Services there for 5 years. She was the Audiology consultant for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital Craniofacial Anomalies team from 2009 to 2018.

She worked as a clinical audiologist in Nashville, Tennessee collaborating with Ear, Nose and Throat physicians from 1996-2002. Her clinical fellowship year was completed at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, in 1995. Dr. Johnston has extensive experience with comprehensive diagnostic audiological evaluations for adults and pediatrics, cochlear implants, hearing aids, auditory brain stem response evaluations, BAHA, Adhear, etc. She joined AudioLife Hearing Center in October 2020.

Dr. Johnston lives in Farragut, Tennessee with her husband, Tommy, of over 25 years and two sons Camp and Ben. Tommy owns a private CPA practice in Knoxville, Tennessee.
